History, Reputation, and Proven Stability of World's Oldest Bartending School
In 1951, American Bartending School opened its doors at 334 South Wabash (just above Ronny's Steakhouse), Chicago, IL. Today, the American Professional Bartending School's Chicago campus is located just 3 blocks south of the original school, at 634 South Wabash.
With over 57 years of continuously operating a Bartending School in Chicago, it is the oldest Bartending School in the world.
Many generations and thousands of bartenders, bar managers and bar owners are former graduates and alumni members of our schools.
Well over 50,000 people have taken our courses in Chicagoland since 1951. It is not uncommon to have referrals from grandparents, parents, aunts and uncles that have taken the course over the last 57 years. They have first hand knowledge of the value of our training and reputation in Chicagoland.
